Master of Sport Management Program Admission Requirements
Applicants seeking admission to the online Master of Science in Sport Management program must meet the following minimum criteria prior to admission:
Applicants must have an earned bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale covering the last 60 credit hours or 90 quarter hours (whichever one is applicable) of undergraduate study.
There is no Graduate Record Examination (GRE) test score requirement.
Applicants must submit three (3) professional letters of reference (i.e. from former professors or employers) addressing the applicant’s ability to succeed in a graduate program – ALL LETTERS MUST BE ON COMPANY/ORGANIZATION LETTERHEAD.
Applicants must submit a personal statement describing their desire to pursue a degree in sport management and career goal(s) in the sport industry. Applicants must also submit a Letter of Commitment and a professional resume.
The Graduate Admissions Office requires all applicants to submit an online application through the FAMU School of Graduate Studies & Research online application portal.

Online MSSM In-State Tuition: $405.67 per credit hour
Online MSSM Out-of-State Tuition: $1,022.04 per credit hour
How to Apply
Applicants must submit an online application through the FAMU School of Graduate Studies & Research.
Along with the completed online application, one must also submit an official copy of their GRE scores (optional; must be sent directly from GRE testing services), and an official transcript from all previous colleges/universities attended.
